3. Checklist for your progress at the gym- COMPETANCE

This one seems so obvious but it is a major let down for most at the gym. It is absolutely crucial for success.

Are you really using the most effective cardio equipment for your fitness level?  Are you working in the correct heart rate zone? Or are you going through the motions week after week, year after year!

We tend to stick with what we know best and it can be very difficult to change bad habits that have been learned- much harder than it is to learn new sound exercise principles in the first place.

If you work out with someone ditch them if your progress is stalled. Get a new training partner,talk to an instructor or hire a trainer for a few sessions.  The day you stop learning new things is the day you will make zero more progress!
