1. Checklist for your progress at the gym- PLAN

Over the next 10 days I am going to publish a 10 point check list for you aimed at optimising your progress at the gym.

Your success in creating the body you have always wanted will be dependant on all of these points, particularly for those of you trying to build muscle.  Omiting even just one of these could well have you spinning your wheels indefinitely.  Are you REALLY making the progress you want?

1. Plan

Before you even begin your gym programme you should have created some sort of plan to follow.  Just about any successful person will recommend a plan.
Anything, just a plan to follow, it doesn't have to be perfect, just something!  It can always be changed along the way as you learn and progress.
You need a goal and some sort of idea as to how you'll get there.  Too many people fail to progress because the have no structured plan in p-lace. They actually go to the gym and decide what to do when they get there on whim.
Just plan one month ahead- your workout split, cardio and diet for the next month.
It will be so much easier to follow if its written down trust me!

Tomorrow- Focus
